Ir de excursion al Teatro Mariinskiy, el mas famoso en San Petersburgo y en Rusia, mundialmente conocido por fin, se hace posible!!

Las excursiones se organizan de dia, fuera del horario de espectaculos y ensayos, duran aproximadamente una hora.
Durante la excursion los visitantes tienen la unica posibilidad de ver y visitar (y hacer fotos!) el vestibulo de gala del teatro, la sala de espectadores, el palco de los zares, la escena y el espacio llamado entre bastidores, la guardarropia del disfraz y otros lugares que normalmente no pueden ver los espectadores durante la funcion! Se acompana por la explicacion del representante del teatro (traduciodos al castellano por su guia interprete, por supuesto) quien les ayuda descubrir algunos de los secretos de la vida de las bailarines, directores de orquesta, musicos y cantantes, normalmente ocultos de los ojos del publico...

Por supuesto, les recomiendo a todos que vean un ballet u opera en el Teatro Mariinsky , sera una gran emoción inolvidable. La sala del teatro es magnífica y lujosa, la acústica es excelente, el ambiente teatral es fantástico. Hay que reconocer que los precios no son economicos (dependiendo de la localidad o espectaculo varian entre 75 a 155 euros por persona), pero, pueden creerme, vale la pena!
Para los quienes no tienen suerte de poder coincidir las fechas de su estancia con los espectaculos o no disponen de bastante tiempo o por otras causas no pueden ir creo, servira la excursion al Teatro Mariinskiy para conocer el ambiente fabuloso del teatro mas famoso de Rusia
El Teatro Mariinski (en la epoca sovietica , entre 1935-1992, fue conocido como el Teatro de Ópera y Ballet Kírov en honor al político soviético Sergio Kirov) debe su nombre a la emperatriz rusa María Alexandrovna, esposa de Alejandro II de Rusia (se puede conocer las biografias de los zares rusos aqui)
El edificio del teatro fue construido entre 1859 y 1860 por el arquitecto Albert en lugar de antiguo teatro Imperial destruido por incendio. Actualmente cerca del edificio historico van construyendo otro edificio complementario de la arquitectura moderna
El Teatro Mariinskiy ha sido escenario de importantes directores, músicos y bailarines, como Vatslav Nizhinski, Ana Pávlova, Tamara Karsavina, Matilde Kshesinskaya, Olga Spesivtseva, Galina Ulanova, Natalia Dudinskaya, Rudolf Nureev, Mikhail Barishnikov, Feodor Shaliapin y Leonid Sóbinov y muchos otros . A este teatro están ligados los mejores logros del arte ruso de ópera y ballet. Su compañía de ballet durante varios años fue dirigida por Marius Petipa (1818-1910) que creó la coreografía para más de 60 ballets
El mas famoso compositor ruso, Piotr Tchaikovskiy , estuvo ligado al Teatro Mariinski, en el que no solamente dirigió la orquesta sino que tambien estrenó sus sinfonias, operas y balets (tales como famosos El lago de los cisnes, La bella durmiente, El cascanueces)
Es sede del célebre Ballet Mariinski (llamado Ballet Kirov durante la época soviética) Su director general es Valeri Gérgiev.
